Welcome

Welcome to my new blog. I have wanted to start a business selling my crafts for some time now. I have yet to make that dream become a reality. I am hoping that this is a step in that direction. Unfortunately, having 3 kids, several pets, and a husband to take care of I often do not find the time to get my crafting done. Being a family of 5 (with 3 growing kids who always seem to be eating everything in sight), I have been trying to keep the family expenses as low as possible. The first project that I tackled was making my own laundry soap. I have not seen a difference in the quality of cleaning between my soap and the stuff I used to buy. I gave some to my mom to try and now she calls me for more whenever she is getting low. I have just moved on to making more household products. For example, tonight I made over 100 ounces of fabric softener for less than $3.00. I will also be posting about the activities that I do with the kiddos at the preschool that I have been helping out at one morning a week as well as my Girl Scout troop. In between the crafts and homemade products you might see a few posts about my kiddos as well. What mom can refrain from writing/talking about her kids? I hope you enjoy what you read.
