Rainy Day...... YEAH!!!!

Silly title is probably what you are thinking. You have to understand that we have gone weeks and weeks without rain. So to finally get some wet stuff falling from the sky it is a cause for celebration. I originally planned to wash some rugs & other large items and hang them out on the clothes line today. They will just have to wait for another day. With the shift in plans, my main goal for the day it to get my laundry room organized. Then to move onto the storage closet and my office/craft/junk room. If I at least get the laundry room finished and find my desk again I will feel like I accomplished something. Enjoy your Sunday.

Welcome

Welcome to my new blog. I have wanted to start a business selling my crafts for some time now. I have yet to make that dream become a reality. I am hoping that this is a step in that direction. Unfortunately, having 3 kids, several pets, and a husband to take care of I often do not find the time to get my crafting done. Being a family of 5 (with 3 growing kids who always seem to be eating everything in sight), I have been trying to keep the family expenses as low as possible. The first project that I tackled was making my own laundry soap. I have not seen a difference in the quality of cleaning between my soap and the stuff I used to buy. I gave some to my mom to try and now she calls me for more whenever she is getting low. I have just moved on to making more household products. For example, tonight I made over 100 ounces of fabric softener for less than $3.00. I will also be posting about the activities that I do with the kiddos at the preschool that I have been helping out at one morning a week as well as my Girl Scout troop. In between the crafts and homemade products you might see a few posts about my kiddos as well. What mom can refrain from writing/talking about her kids? I hope you enjoy what you read.
